Family day out - A visit to Odds Farm Park provides an opportunity to meet many rare and interesting animals - and have a great day out at any time of the year. This park was created particularly with children in mind and provides lots of opportunities for them to observe the animals in an enjoyable atmosphere. As one of 20 approved rare breeds centres in the country, they combine this with the breeding and conservation of many of Briatin's rarest animals. Many of the animals can be fed by hand, an activity which gives all visitors lots of pleasure and confidence. Hands-on activities are just as popular with the parents as they are with the children. They are kept interesting, varied, educational and fun. Bottle feeding lambs (Feb / March) or kid goats, pig's tea time, pat-a-pet and goat milking (by hand) are some of the seasonal favourites - even the demonstrations, such as sheep dog displays (April weekends), cow milking (January) and sheep shearing (May - weekends and most weekdays), can be interactive. Outdoor ares provide many varied play activities and the indoor areas give parents a break as much as they do the kids - and in any weather.

Facilities: Tea Room, Gift Shop, Toilets (inc. disabled), Baby Changing, Log play areas and under 5's play area, Fitness trail, Ride on toys and hay bale climb (indoor), Free parking, Picnic area within the farm park, Tractor & trailer rides (seasonal - 50p). Guide and hearing dogs only.
