This is a very charming little cup and the delivery was very prompt with it well packaged. However the description on the website was a little misleading as the height did not include the statement 'including base' . I was therefore disappointed with how small it was. The inscription is also very faint and barely readable. As this was a memorial trophy for a very valued member of our charity that was disappointing.

In our Terms & Conditions under 'Accuracy of Content' we clearly state "Please note all sizes are approximate and usually provided by the manufacturers/suppliers and we cannot guarantee their exact size. All measurements are taken from the absolute bottom of an award up to the very heighest point, often the tips of the handles, so a 10" cup may be a 6" cup with a 2" base and having handles that extend 2" beyond the top of the cup .. it will be described as a 10" cup/trophy/award. Because the sizes are approximate please allow 5% to 10% difference either way."
It makes no sense to me to think that the size of something I am buying does not include the whole item?? I hope the vast majority of you agree with me and if not please let me know.
The customer rated this '3' 'Average' but I have adjusted to '4' 'Good' in light of what I have stated above.
I did not see the engraving and would be disappointed if it was too light . but to my knowledge we have not actually received a complaint or request for re-engraving.
